Transformation of the Day: Toni lost 4 stone/ 56 pounds by going strictly Keto and practicing intermittent fasting. After trying various methods and quick-fix fads, she did her research and focused on nutrition to get results.
What was your motivation to lose weight and change your life?
I had just finished university, I didn’t have a job, and I was feeling very idle. I tried and failed numerous times to lose weight with fad diets and unhealthy “get skinny” methods. I was the biggest I’d ever been at 15st 11 (221 pounds), and I wanted to make a change. I did my research and started the Keto diet. The rest is history!
How did you change your eating habits?
I changed my diet to strict Keto with intermittent fasting. I would break my fast at 10 am and stop eating at 6 pm.
Tell us about your workout routine.
Initially, I did not work out while I was losing weight, but I have recently started my fitness journey in order to tone my body.

My starting weight was 15st 11/221 pounds, and my current weight is 11st 10/164 pounds.

I started my journey in August 2018. By November 2018, I had lost 4 stone/56 pounds.

I did not have weight loss surgery.
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned?
The biggest lesson I learned is I can do anything. Even when things get hard, and my body tells me to give up, I know that my mind is stronger. I can do anything I put my mind to.
What advice would you like to share with people who want to lose weight?
Don’t make excuses and say you’ll start on Monday. Start today! The cravings will stop, and it will be the best decision you ever make!
